A Florida man was arrested last week for allegedly throwing urine-filled bottles in a business — hitting an employee and causing damages.

WTSP reported that John Connaughton, 51, vandalized Doors, Moulding & More in St. Petersburg on Friday for denying him a job interview. Connaughton allegedly walked to the business’ front doorway to throw the urine-filled bottles, causing $1,000 in damages.

An employee reportedly chased Connaughton off after the urine struck his bare legs. WFLA reported that Connnaughton raised a skateboard at the employee in a threatening manner during the chase.

Connaughton was arrested on charges of battery, criminal mischief, and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $22,500.

Records indicated that Connaughton is a sex offender with a 2004 conviction for lewd or lascivious acts involving a 16-year-old. Since then, he’s been arrested twice for failing to comply with registration laws.
