A Florida man awaiting sentencing after he pleaded guilty to forcing a teenage girl to sign a “sex slave contract” with him in 2021 has now been charged with trying to have her killed before she could testify at the sentencing hearing.

Andrew Mustapick, 70, reportedly forced the girl to sign a contract that made her his sex slave two days a week, in exchange for him buying her 19-year-old friend a car. But the girl went to police, and months later he signed a plea deal that would have had him sentenced in June.

Indian River County Sheriff Eric Flowers told WPBF that his office was notified of the murder for hire plot against the girl in March. He reportedly initially offered someone $40,000 to convince the victim not to testify, then upped it to $50,000 to kill her before she could testify.

“His plan was to withdraw the plea deal,” Flowers said. “And then if the victim was and if the victim is no longer here, he essentially gets sentenced to nothing.”

The girl was 17 at the time, according to TC Palm. She told police that her “friend” had initially agreed to have sex with Mustapick in exchange for the car, but the friend forced her to engage with him instead. The contract required her to perform certain sex acts with him two days a week for five years. When she later stopped going to Mustapick’s house, he repossessed the car he’d bought for the “friend.”

Flowers told WPBF that Mustapick “is an absolute animal.”

“Thank you to the person who came forward,” he said. “We’re not identifying them at this time. But we would not be here today if it weren’t for that person that came forward and let us know about this.”

According to Law&Crime, a relative of Mustapick’s told police of the plot. He was arrested on May 5. According to jail records, his previous bond was revoked and he was ordered held on a $3.5 million bond on two counts of criminal solicitation.
