GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Four juveniles were arrested early Sunday morning after calls that juveniles were trying to break into vehicles at Reflections Apartments.
During the early morning hours of Sunday, August 10, deputies responded to Reflections Apartments on SW 75th Street following multiple calls from concerned citizens who said they saw four juveniles attempting to break into vehicles.
Deputies set up an area of containment at the apartment complex. They were able to locate and detain two of the four juveniles, 15-year-old Cornelius Brister and 13-year-old Carvel Brister. While questioning them, law enforcement was able to identify the two other outstanding juveniles involved in the attempted car burglaries: 15-year-old Blake Jackson and 15-year-old Malekhai Fuller.
While on scene, deputies were approached by a citizen who disclosed the whereabouts of Jackson and Fuller. Units responded to the mentioned location and took them into custody.
Given all the evidence and after interviewing all the involved parties and witnesses, all four were arrested and each charged with Attempted Conveyance Burglary and Loitering and Prowling.
