GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Hezekiah Vontrale Frazier, 22, was arrested on November 14 on two counts of lewd and lascivious battery of a minor, and yesterday seven child pornography charges were added, along with two counts of traveling to meet a minor for sex.

According to a report from an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy, the investigation began on November 6; that investigation found that Frazier had engaged in a sexual relationship with a girl who was 14 years old at the time and that he was aware that she was a minor. As evidence of this, the deputy wrote that he allegedly told the victim that she should be in school (she had previously dropped out) and that he could get in trouble for “talking to her.” The deputy reportedly monitored a call between the victim and Frazier in which the victim told Frazier that she might be pregnant, and Frazier reportedly said he could go to jail and be labeled as a Sexual Offender.

The victim reported that she sent nude photos to Frazier and that he had taken videos on several occasions when they had sexual intercourse.

When Frazier was arrested on November 14 on a warrant for lewd and lascivious battery on a minor, his phone was seized as evidence, and a search warrant was granted for the phone on November 20. A search of the phone reportedly produced nude photos of the victim and three videos of Frazier and the victim having sex. A total of 19 photos and videos were reportedly found in which the victim was at least partially nude and could be identified. One video showing sexual activity was reportedly taken in Frazier’s car, and one was reportedly taken in a parking garage.

Since Frazier allegedly arranged his meetings with the victim by phone or text message and sent her videos of their sexual activity, he has been charged with two counts of traveling to meet a minor for sex, two counts of distribution of child pornography, and unlawful use of a two-way communications device. He has also been charged with three counts of producing child pornography and one count of possession of 10 or more child pornography images.

Frazier has no local adult criminal convictions. Total bail is set at $1.4 million, but his attorney has filed a motion to release him on his own recognizance.
