GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In a troubling incident of alleged harassment, 24-year-old Aspacia Raine Henley was taken into custody yesterday on charges of stalking her neighbors, with accusations that she even pursued them to their workplace.

According to the arrest report from the Gainesville Police Department, the neighbors recounted receiving numerous text messages from Henley, which they described as containing hate speech, defamatory content, and threats. The situation reportedly escalated when Henley allegedly followed them to their job location on at least three occasions, disrupting their work environment. On two of those occasions, she was reportedly asked to leave the premises.

The victims reported that they had explicitly requested Henley to cease all contact on February 17. However, the communications purportedly persisted, with messages that seemed to lack any legitimate reason. The situation deteriorated further on April 1, when Henley allegedly threatened to intensify her behavior.

The continual harassment reportedly instilled such fear in the victims that they felt unsafe even sleeping in their own home.

Henley has been charged with stalking. She has no criminal history, and Judge Susan Miller-Jones set bail at $25,000 and ordered a mental health evaluation.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
