GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Authorities have taken 63-year-old David Christ Brown into custody following an incident where he allegedly threatened another man with a knife.
The incident occurred around 3:43 p.m. on January 16, when a deputy from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disturbance at a mobile home in the Palms of Archer community, located at 7117 SW Archer Road. Brown allegedly pounded on the door but eventually ceased his efforts and departed the scene in a vehicle. Deputies, who observed the vehicle leaving the area, initiated a traffic stop and subsequently apprehended Brown.
