An address they were called to the previous day due to a dispute with possible shots fired where they found a man fleeing, narcotics, and a firearm.

On Saturday, police encountered Jarmmal Cox, 30, who allegedly hit a police vehicle when he fled from the scene. During the police pursuit, Cox crashed his vehicle near Dickinson Street and Green Avenue. Cox fled on foot and police gave chase.

With assistance from the LaGrange Police Department and a K-9 team, officers located Cox at a home on Lawrence Street. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about Jarmmal Cox is encouraged to contact the Hogansville Police Department at 706-637-6648.
