In 2021, he graduated from the police academy and became a sworn officer. Since then, Detective Mattair has gained valuable experience in patrol and now serves as a detective on the Gun Violence Unit, where he plays a key role in investigating and preventing violent crime. He is also a member of the department’s SWAT Unit, showcasing his advanced training and readiness to respond to high-risk situations.”
