HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – A 40-year-old man named Trevize Henry Nixon has been charged with eight counts of video voyeurism. Authorities discovered incriminating photos and videos stored on SD cards and thumb drives that allegedly belonged to Nixon.
According to a detective from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Nixon is currently serving a prison sentence from 2021 to 2025. This timeline indicates that the images and videos were created before his incarceration. The investigation revealed three photographs likely captured from a phone or camera positioned on the ground. These images depicted an adult woman’s underwear beneath her dress. Similarly, the videos showed a woman walking over the camera, with her underwear visible under her clothes.
Beyond the eight specific images and videos linked to the charges, the devices reportedly contained “thousands” of additional videos. The detective noted that “the majority of the videos exhibited sexual deviant behavior.” Among these were clips of Nixon posing provocatively in women’s clothing and engaging in inappropriate actions in public settings, such as stairwells or while driving.
Some videos appeared to be recorded in public restrooms, capturing women as they entered, pulled down their pants, and used the facilities.
Nixon was charged with eight counts of digital voyeurism via sworn complaint in July 2025, and formal charges were filed on November 18, after he was arrested on November 13 for failing to appear at a sentencing hearing after entering a plea of nolo contendere to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Nixon has three felony convictions (one violent), not including the drug charge, because he has not been sentenced yet. He has served three state prison sentences, with his most recent release in May 2025. He is also facing a sworn complaint for indecent exposure but has not yet been booked on that charge. Bail on the video voyeurism charges is set at $400,000, but he must serve the sentence for the drug charge before he can post bail.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
