GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Jennifer Gayle Reese, 46, was arrested yesterday after she allegedly exposed herself on a public sidewalk by pulling down her pants and lifting her shirt.
At approximately 9:52 a.m. on September 24, a Gainesville Police Department officer investigated a reported indecent exposure near Gallo Car Wash at 3020 NW 13th Street. The officer located Reese, who matched the witness’s description, in a nearby parking lot.
Reese reportedly denied exposing herself. However, a witness who drove past the scene and saw Reese with the officer identified her as the person she had seen exposing herself.
According to the witness, she was leaving the car wash when Reese approached her on the sidewalk. The witness said she attempted to wave Reese along, but Reese declined, prompting the driver to continue forward and prepare to turn onto the street. When she turned to check for traffic, she said she saw Reese pull down her pants and underwear before lifting her top, exposing her breasts and genitals.

Reese’s address is listed as GRACE Marketplace. She faces a charge of indecent exposure of sexual organs. Although her complete criminal history was unavailable, records show three local nonviolent misdemeanor convictions. She was also found incompetent to proceed in a 2017 trespassing case. Local records show no arrests between 2017 and yesterday, though she was arrested multiple times in Broward County during that period. Judge Adam Lee set bail at $50,000.
