The mass murder case that rocked small-town Ohio — and the country — is getting an in-depth look on Oxygen.

How to Watch

Watch The Pike Family Murders: A Family Massacre on Oxygen Friday, November 24 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Oxygen app.

The Pike County Murders: A Family Massacre tells the story of the eight members of the Rhoden and Gilley family who were fatally shot, at the hands of their friends, the Wagners. Produced by KT Studios, the three-part documentary series is told from the perspective of some of those closest to the case.

Viewers will get to hear first-hand accounts from family members and friends of both the victims, and the killers, as well as from law enforcement that worked the case and journalists who covered it.

“How did it come to pass that eight members of the same family could be brutally murdered execution-style in four different locations in one night by members of another family they called friends?” reads an Oxygen press release about the special. “One of largest murder investigations in Ohio’s history rips off the veneer of small-town America, exposing an underbelly of violence, pitting family against family, mother against son, and brother against brother in a haunting story of lies, secrets, and betrayal.”

So, even if you’re familiar with the case, there’s a lot more to take in.
