Police have released new images related to the human remains found floating in the Intracoastal Waterway in Delray Beach, Florida last week, including a rendering of the victim and photos of the suitcases in which her body parts were found in.

On July 21, police responded to a 911 call reporting a suitcase that appeared to have human remains hanging out of it that was floating in the waterway.

“Within a few hours of this particular call, we had received two other calls regarding other suitcases that were floating just south of this location,” Police Chief Russ Mager said at a Monday press conference.

Detectives recovered three suitcases in total from the Intracoastal Waterway, which they determined all contained the remains of the same woman.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Imaging Unit has since released a reconstructed photo of what the unidentified woman may have looked like.

“She is believed to be white or Hispanic, between 35 and 55 years old, 5 foot 4 inches tall, possible brown hair with tattooed eyebrows,” the Delray Beach Police Department said in a statement Thursday.

Earlier this week, police released a photo of the floral top the woman was wearing, which they believe was made by the Brazilian company Betzabe. The victim was also found to be wearing a black undershirt and black mid-thigh shorts.

On Thursday, police also released images of two “unique” suitcases in which some of the victim’s remains were found. Authorities said the first bag is a purple Palm Springs Ricardo Beverly Hills piece of luggage. The second piece is a green and black polka dot Charlie Sport bag, the Delray Beach Police Department said.

Investigators believe the woman was killed some time between July 17 and July 20, and have asked area residents for help in identifying the women.

“We are again asking for help from people who live along the Intracoastal Waterway in Delray Beach to review their personally owned video surveillance cameras during the specified timeframe,” the department stated in a Thursday Facebook post. Police specifically asked to look out for any unusual vehicles or anyone moving luggage.

If anyone recognizes the woman from the reconstructed photos, authorities ask that they send all tips and information to Detective Mike Liberta from the Delray Beach Police Department, who can be reached at 561-243-7874.

When asked if there’s a dangerous suspect at large and if the community should be concerned, the department’s Sgt. Casey Kelly said Monday that investigators “believe it to be an isolated incident.”

Kelly said detectives are focusing on a specific portion of the Intracoastal Waterway, stretching about a mile between the Linton Boulevard and George Bush Boulevard bridges.

“The stretch of waterway is very large, and that’s part of why we’re meeting today and asking for the public’s help. … But it’s a very daunting task,” Kelly said. “So we’re asking for the public to do some of that, that legwork for us.”
