Authorities in California are actively searching for a woman who disappeared last week under circumstances that suggest possible foul play.
Danielle Staley, 35, was last seen near Rio Del Mar State Beach on Friday. According to Santa Cruz County deputies, Staley is considered at risk, and there are indications that her disappearance may involve foul play, as reported by KSBW.
However, specific details about why investigators suspect foul play remain limited, with authorities yet to disclose what new evidence has led them to this conclusion.
Investigators are requesting any available surveillance footage from Beach Drive, Rio Del Mar Boulevard, or the Esplanade recorded between November 5 and 7.
Staley is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds, with blond hair. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt paired with leopard-print leggings.
Anyone with information regarding Staley’s whereabouts should call Santa Cruz County police at 831-471-1121.
