Season 14 ended with “The Road Trip,” which focused on the disturbing murder of Dr. Teresa Sievers. The doctor with a passion for holistic medicine was found dead on her kitchen floor after returning home to Florida from a family trip. Detectives were baffled by the brutal murder until an unexpected tip took them on a road trip hundreds of miles away, where they uncovered a sinister plot to take the physician’s life.

“The Blue Blanket Mystery” tells the story of a 5-year-old boy who was reported missing from a New Jersey carnival. About 11 months later, Timmy Wiltsey’s remains were discovered in the woods across the river from the carnival grounds. Without much evidence to go on, the case eventually went cold until two decades later when a relative provided some critical information about an object found near the remains that helped take the case in a new direction.

In “The Sisterhood,” devoted mom Stacy Feldman was found dead in the shower of her Colorado home. Although her death was initially thought to be an accident and the medical examiner ruled her cause of death as undetermined, Feldman’s friends, family and other women close to the investigation banded together to put the pieces of the chilling mystery together, exposing a cold-blooded killer in the process.
