Things got a little dicey for Little Tory — a French bulldog that was allegedly thrown out of a third-story window last week — but it looks like the puppy is going to survive.

Police in St. Louis County, Missouri, say that someone tossed the dog as officers closed in on the people suspected of taking the canine from its owner’s home.

Authorities do not suggest if it was Landon Allen, 23, James Perry, 18, or perhaps someone else who flung the canine. Little Tory got hurt but is expected to survive, officers said.

Police claim it was Allen and Perry who broke in through a window into the victim’s home in the village of Hanley Hills on Oct. 14. The two of them allegedly stole Little Tory and a 2-year-old French bulldog by the name of Zelda.

Investigators determined that the dogs were being sold online for $5,000 each.

On Thursday, officers approached a home, detained a someone they only identified as a “female suspect” and found Zelda.

According to documents, the “female suspect” gave them the address of the puppy’s location.

“As officers approached that location, the puppy, known as Little Tory, was hurled from a 3rd story window,” they wrote.

Allen and Perry allegedly locked themselves in the apartment, but officers eventually took them into custody.

According to officers, the “female suspect” told cops that Allen and Perry had bragged to her about stealing the dogs.

Both men are charged with burglary in the second degree and two counts off stealing at $750 or more.

Documents show Allen’s bond was set at $150,000, cash only. Perry’s bond is $100,000, cash only. In both complaints, officers claimed both men were found with a lot of fentanyl; cops suggested this was being “staged for distribution.” Police also claimed to find two guns, one of which was allegedly modified to be fully automatic.
