A 27-year-old resident of Las Vegas faces charges for the brutal slaying of his parents after he dialed 911, confessing to needing to be apprehended “for murder.”

According to court records, Adrian Bailey contacted emergency services around 11:30 p.m., expressing that he “couldn’t take it anymore” and had “killed them,” as reported by KLAS. He informed the dispatcher about “blood everywhere” and insisted it wasn’t intentional, the documents reveal.

Authorities arrived at the 911 call’s listed address but did not find Bailey there. Instead, they discovered Roger Bailey deceased and his spouse, Kristine Bailey, suffering from “life-threatening injuries.” She was rushed to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Bailey made a subsequent call from a different location, urging the dispatcher that “officers need to kill him on sight,” claiming he posed a threat to himself and others. When asked if he had harmed himself, he admitted he hadn’t but mentioned he had “done some others.”

The documents indicate that Bailey confessed to leaving their home without his glasses, admitting to consuming alcohol but denying drug use. The police report describes him as “hysterical,” explaining that he killed his father because “he had enough abuse.”

Officers found him at about 11:45 p.m. at the second location and took him into custody. He had blood on his skin and clothing and requested an attorney during an interview.

Meanwhile, back at the crime scene, officers found a child-sized baseball bat covered in blood at the top of the stairs. Blood spatter was found on the stairs and in the living room, where the victims were found.

Bailey has been charged with two counts of open murder and two counts of first degree murder with a deadly weapon and was ordered held without bail. He was due back in court on Wednesday, but local media did not follow up on the hearing. Court records show he was granted a public defender and is due back in court in February.
