WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — A resident of Gray is currently detained without bail following accusations of assaulting a woman earlier this week.

The Washington County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) reported that Lance Howell, aged 33, was taken into custody on Monday evening. He faces two charges of aggravated domestic assault.

In a statement from the sheriff’s office, it was revealed that deputies responded to a report of a suspicious individual on the 700 block of Oak Grove Road at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday.
