A man has been sentenced to prison after unlawfully entering a woman’s home and engaging in an inappropriate act while she was asleep.

Cristian Solorio has admitted to felony stalking and entering a residence with the intention of committing a sexual act, as detailed in a March 20 press release from the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office in California.

The court sentenced Solorio to six years and eight months in prison, the maximum term permissible by state law. Additionally, prosecutors have indicated that Solorio is also facing federal charges related to drug trafficking.

The troubling series of events began in February 2025 when the 28-year-old first encountered the woman at her workplace. According to the press release, he “immediately became obsessed with her.” Over the following weeks, Solorio persistently harassed the woman by frequently appearing at her job and lingering outside to engage her in conversation.

Solorio repeatedly asked the woman out on dates and even sent her a letter expressing his desire to take her to Mexico, the release states.

Then in May, Solorio broke into the woman’s home, per the release, and she awoke to him sucking on her toes. The woman was “terrified,” according to the doc, but made friendly conversation with Solorio to de-escalate the situation and calm him down.

The woman’s family entered her bedroom and demanded that he leave, read the release, which he did. The woman called 911 and Solorio was arrested, admitting to police that he broke into her home to contact his victim.

An attorney for Solorio declined to comment when asked by Oxygen.
