GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Majd Akram Ibrahim, 26, was arrested Monday morning and charged with sexual battery of a victim under 12 years old, lewd and lascivious molestation, and using a child in a sexual performance.
On October 31, a preschool child disclosed to a witness that Ibrahim had been engaging in sexual acts with him and that Ibrahim had hurt him during those acts. The child also said Ibrahim took pictures of him with no clothes on.
Post Miranda, Ibrahim reportedly said he “wouldn’t do that” because “that’s weird” and he likes “women.”

Ibrahim was arrested in 2022 and charged with vehicle theft and domestic battery by strangulation after allegedly throwing a woman’s possessions out of her car, strangling her, and then driving away with the car when she got out to gather her possessions. He entered a plea of nolo contendere to the charges and was sentenced to three years of probation, with adjudication of guilt withheld.
Ibrahim is being held without bail for violating probation and on $1,000,000 bail on the new charges.
