Man who assaulted, impregnated disabled victim sentenced

A man who admitted to sexually assaulting and impregnating a woman with a “severe or profound intellectual disability” in Illinois will spend more than two decades behind bars.

Isaiah Fields, 25, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office announced on Friday. In 2023, Fields sexually assaulted a woman who was a resident of Marklund Home, an assisted living facility in the far western Chicago suburb of Geneva.
