The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office released details on the suspected murder weapon used in the death of a man at the Burning Man festival last month.

According to FOX News Digital, the sheriff’s office has shared a stock image of the alleged knife in hopes that its details will help identify and apprehend the suspect.

“At this time, the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office is in possession of the suspected weapon used in this crime. It appears the injury was caused by a single stab wound to the victim’s neck,” they stated.

The weapon was reportedly found next to Vadim Kruglov’s body at the festival.

Kruglov, a Russian native living in Tacoma, Washington, was found dead on the night of August 30, coinciding with the burning of the festival’s titular structure. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff’s office reported that a participant of the affluent, avant-garde festival in the Nevada desert flagged down a deputy to report “a male subject lying in a pool of blood.”

The Burning Man Project stated their intent to “do everything we can to assist the Sheriff’s investigation so the perpetrator can be caught and brought to justice,” including coordinating a donation to the Secret Witness program, which offers rewards for information aiding the investigation, as reported by The New York Post.

Anyone with information should contact the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office at 775-273-5111, ask for Josh Nicholson, and reference case number 25-318. Tips can also be emailed to jnicholson@pershingcountynv.gov.

A $10,000 reward is available for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and prosecution, offered by the Secret Witness of Northern Nevada, in collaboration with Burning Man.
