An Oklahoma man was charged with allegedly murdering his girlfriend, and when police arrived, he reportedly had an ominous greeting for them.

Chad Weathers, 49, was booked into the Osage County Jail on Sunday after police found his girlfriend, Tanya Anderson, dead of a gunshot wound in his home. According to reporting by local CBS affiliate KOTV, officers had responded to the home after Weathers called 911 at around 9:30 a.m., telling dispatchers that he needed officers at his home.

When Weathers was asked why, he ended the call.

Police reported to the home and were greeted at the door by Weathers who reportedly told the officers, “I’ve got a weird one for you.” He then allegedly told them that he had shot his girlfriend the night before.

Anderson was found in the bedroom of the home and declared dead at the scene. A gun was next to her body.
