Milwaukee Man Charged With Years of Horrific Sexual Abuse of 2 Young Girls

A 64-year-old Wisconsin man has been charged with multiple account related to the years-long sexual abuse of two young girls.

The arrest followed an investigation that began in January when one of the girls told her new foster parents, who reported it to Child Protective Services, according to WTMJ.

David Boyd has been charged with five counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, two counts of physical abuse of a child with a dangerous weapon, three counts of trafficking a child,  and four counts of false imprisonment.

The younger girl, identified as M.T. in court documents, told investigators the abuse began when she was 8 or 9 years old while she was living with a friend of her mother’s, who was Boyd’s girlfriend. The abuse began in July 2020 and continued for four years. She said that Boyd raped her “too many times to count”  and frequently cut her arms and other parts of her body — including her private parts — “if he was mad or if she was not listening to him.”

A physical examination of the girl in February found scars consistent with being cut. M.T. also told examiners that Boyd started raping her sister, identified in the complaint as D.T., and then “moving on to her.”

Investigators spoke with D.T. in February, and she told them that Boyd began abusing her in 2015 when she was 5, and the assaults continued until she left the home at the age of 12 in 2022.

In a second interview, M.T. told investigators that Boyd trafficed her at his Milwaukee home, forcing her to have sex with six men in exhange for money. Another time, she said, he chained her arms to a pole in his basement and kept her there, giving her only a piece of bread to eat and water that stood on the floor to drink.

According to WDJT, M.T. said that the abuse began with touching and got significantly worse. M.T. told investigators that Boyd would get in the shower with her and force oral sex, then later intercourse. She also said he raped her when she tried to sleep.

Police executed a search warrant earlier this month, finding multiple loose knives and blades throughout the house and a large chain hook from the ceiling. The concrete floor had a dip where water gathered, as M.T. had described, and they found bread on the stairs leading to the basement.

Boyd denied the allegations, accusing the children of being “jealous that he was a father to his daughter but not to them.” He was startled, however, when investigators showed him a sketch of his basement drawn by one of the girls and “immediately jumped up, stating he needed to use the bathroom or he was going to urinate his pants.”

Boyd was given a $100,000 bond during his initial court appearance on April 27 and ordered to return for a preliminary hearing on May 7.
