HOLLYNN, 19, MIND OF 10 Y.O., VANISHES FROM PARTY, SPARKS SERIAL KILLER FEAR

When Erica Bilheimer was just 10 years old, she embarked on a new chapter in her life, complete with a new name. Adopted by Heather and Steven Snapp, she embraced her new identity as “Hollynn” Snapp, marking a fresh beginning with her new family.

The bond between Hollynn and the Snapps extended to her past, as they maintained a warm relationship with her former foster mother, Leslie Hunt, who had cared for Hollynn for over a year. Despite the changes in her life, Hollynn remained much the same over the years.

By the age of 19, Hollynn had grown to a height of just 4 feet, 9 inches, and was living with a low IQ, possessing the mental capacity of a ten-year-old. Her unique challenges did not deter her from experiencing life, though they added a layer of complexity to her interactions.

On October 5, Hollynn texted Heather, informing her of a party she planned to attend at a house on Bell Ridge Drive. She was going with a man named Steven Linkous, whom a trusted friend had introduced to her. Hollynn’s message raised concern for Heather, as it included an odd detail: Linkous, 52, had requested that Hollynn keep his name a secret.

Despite his request, Hollynn confided in Heather, sending a text that included the address in Kingsport and sharing, “Hey, this is where I am, and this is who I am with, although he didn’t want me to tell you his name.” In a testament to their trust, she revealed Linkous’s name to Heather anyway.

Foster mom, Leslie Hunt, assumes Hollynn started inpatient treatment when Hollynn hadn’t reached out in more than a week, but is shocked to see a Facebook post from Heather Snapp, asking if anyone has seen or spoken to Hollynn.

Heather tells Leslie about Hollynn’s last text, and they agree that if Hollynn had access to a phone, she would have reached out by now.

Heather struggles to get local authorities to take a missing person report, so the women report Hollynn missing to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.

After Hollynn is reported missing, Hollynn’s friend comes forward about leaving Hollynn at Linkous.’

Hollynn was last seen on October 5 at a “party” on Bell Ridge Drive in Kingsport, Tennessee. Witnesses said she had taken a beating and was not coherent.

Hollynn is described as weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, and an ‘Eye of Providence’ tattoo on her forearm.
