A Georgia woman has been taken into custody in connection with the tragic shooting death of her 2-year-old son last month.
Just days before her arrest, 29-year-old Raven Borowiecki initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for her son Keith Richard’s funeral expenses. Keith reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in late November. Following Borowiecki’s arrest, the fundraising page has been removed. She now faces multiple charges, including involuntary manslaughter, cruelty to children, criminal negligence causing excessive mental or physical pain, and reckless conduct, according to a report by WSAV.
In the GoFundMe campaign, Borowiecki allegedly explained, “We spent all our funds on funeral and urns and other things for our baby boy and now are left with a hefty amount of bills and just need some help to get back on our feet. We are very stressed and heartbroken. Still have 6 children to raise and we are trying our best.”
After her arrest, Borowiecki was released from Liberty County jail upon posting a bond of $22,300, as reported by WSAV.
