John Paul Miller, a pastor from South Carolina, faces federal charges following accusations of cyberstalking and posting a nude photograph of his late wife, Mica Miller, online. Mica tragically took her own life last year after initiating divorce proceedings.
Miller, 46, has been indicted on charges of cyberstalking and providing false statements to federal authorities, as reported by officials.
John-Paul and Mica Miller married in 2017. At the age of 23, Mica became the stepmother to John-Paul’s five children. Despite their age difference, the couple initially appeared to be very much in love and were seen as a perfect match by many.
Though they projected happiness publicly, their private life told a different story. Mica eventually decided to end her marriage to John-Paul, filing for divorce. She withdrew the initial filing after four months but soon proceeded to file again.
Following her second divorce filing, Mica experienced a series of disturbing events: her car tires were slashed twice in one week, and a mechanic discovered a tracking device in her vehicle. These events led Mica to suspect that Miller was stalking her, leaving her in fear for her safety.
One morning during a church service, Pastor John-Paul Miller announces he got a call last night, and his wife has died by suicide.
Mica’s family and friends demand justice for Mica and ask law enforcement to investigate. Protest follows outside Solid Rock Church demanding justice for Mica.
