Efforts are underway to locate a Massachusetts man who disappeared last month under mysterious circumstances.
Jason Thomas was last seen leaving his Wakefield residence on December 12, according to his wife, who shared this information with WFXT. After tending to their dogs, he was captured on surveillance footage walking near some train tracks. However, the train conductor reported that Thomas did not board a train that evening.
In discussions with the media, Thomas’ wife disclosed that he had been coping with significant personal loss since November, following the deaths of his parents.
“His mother passed away from dementia, and shortly after, his father died of a heart attack in his arms. As their only child, this has been incredibly overwhelming for him,” she explained.
According to WBTs, Thomas works as a scientist at Novartis, a pharmaceutical firm.
Thomas was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, and having brown eyes and black and grey hair. He was last seen with a white and grey puffy coat, dark blue jeans, and a black hat.
Anyone with information regarding Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to call Wakefield police at 781-245-1212.
