An Ohio woman is facing serious charges following allegations of child abuse that spanned over four years. The indictment against 37-year-old Anjelicia Stewart reveals a disturbing pattern of abuse involving three children, with incidents reportedly occurring between 2021 and 2025.
According to court documents, Stewart is accused of attempting to drown the children in a bathtub while threatening them with the words, “I’m going to kill you.” This is only part of a broader pattern of alleged abuse. Reports indicate that Stewart also resorted to physical violence, beating the children with belts and a metal dog clasp. Additionally, she is accused of choking them to the point of unconsciousness, as reported by WXIX. Alarmingly, there was at least one instance where a child stopped breathing and had to be revived by another child.
Currently, Stewart is not in police custody, and authorities have issued a warrant for her arrest. The relationship between Stewart and the children, who are aged 14, 8, and 2, has not been fully detailed. However, it has been confirmed that the children were in her care, as noted by WLWT.
