On Tuesday, search efforts intensified in Florida as authorities scoured abandoned hotels in pursuit of a 10-year-old girl who has been missing since June.
According to WESH, Osceola County police focused their search on the Orlando Sun Resort, a location frequently visited by Gabrielle Terrelonge and her family. Terrelonge was last seen in the company of her mother, Passha Davis, 34, disembarking from a Greyhound bus in Orlando. Davis was taken into custody on November 4, facing charges of child neglect.
Despite her arrest, Davis has reportedly refused to cooperate with authorities, withholding information about her daughter’s whereabouts. The missing child’s father, who reported her disappearance on October 29, is actively aiding the investigation and has voluntarily submitted to a polygraph test, WESH reports.
The family’s situation was described as homeless, adding complexity to the case. In hopes of gathering leads, a $5,000 reward is being offered for information that could help locate Terrelonge.
Gabrielle Terrelonge is described as 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with dark hair. At the time of her last sighting, she was dressed in a white t-shirt, black long pants, and white Crocs.
Davis remains jailed on $100,000 bond.
The FBI is involved in the ongoing search for Terrelonge — who is considered at-risk.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Margate Police Department at 954-972-7111.
