Earlier this month, Missouri police arrested two people who allegedly filmed themselves encouraging children to fight each other.

On July 14, Pettis County police were informed about a pair of videos showing two children fighting. Barbara Dunlap, 44, who is the guardian of the two children, was recorded cheering on the fights, according to KCTV.

A second suspect, Austin Barklage, 20, was also allegedly filmed encouraging the fights.

According to KFVS, the videos showed the two children on opposite sides of a living room as two people off-camera are heard pressuring them to fight. The pair was also filmed giving tips on how to strike each other.

Police said the adults cheered on while one of the children was in a headlock that could have killed them.

KCTV reported that one of the children ran away from home after the organized fights — and Dunlap did not attempt to check on them.

Following his arrest, Barklage allegedly confessed to filming the illicit video on Snapchat and sending it to his cousin.

Dunlap and Barklage are charged with child endangerment. Their bonds were set at $7,500. Court records indicated that several other children in Dunlap’s care were removed from the home following her arrest.
