Florida police making a traffic stop say they found a woman in possession of a bag that said “Definitely not a bag full of drugs.”
Spoiler alert: According to the cops, there were definitely drugs in the bag.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said in a Facebook post that Deputy Lexi Gordon and her police dog Aurora were on patrol in Melbourne at around 3 a.m. Saturday when she saw a U-Haul driving without lights, so she pulled it over.

The driver said Gordon and her dog could search the car and said there was nothing illegal inside, according to Ivey. The passenger, 31-year-old Teryn Acri, had a few bags with her. One of them bore the words “Definitely not a bag full of drugs,” but according to police, drugs were indeed inside the bag.
In all, deputies allegedly found nearly 8 grams of methamphetamine, needles, Narcan, digital sales, small baggies, cut straws and other drug paraphernalia.
Cops took Acri to the Brevard County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Records show Acri had been arrested in Melbourne just days earlier, on Jan. 6, when she was a passenger in a car that deputies had pulled over. A police dog reportedly alerted deputies to the presence of drugs inside the car. Cops found seven baggies with suspected meth inside Acri’s purse, a probable cause arrest affidavit said. She had a total of 14.5 grams of meth, according to cops, and she was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine in the amount of 14 grams or more, methamphetamine possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“She was arrested on January 6th with ‘no bond’ and of course bonded out on January 8th after getting a ridiculous bond set of $15,500, but hey that’s a story for another day!!” Ivey wrote.
While Acri’s bond is currently revoked with her second arrest in less than 10 days, Ivey expressed skepticism that it will stay that way.
“You know there is a quote that says ‘insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results’ and folks let me tell you, this is absolute insanity that we just keep letting these criminals out of jail on ridiculous bonds so they can break more laws!!” wrote Ivey. “Oh well, as I said earlier … that’s a story for a different day that is coming real soon cause like you, I have had enough!!”
