Two men are behind bars in Texas for allegedly turning a San Antonio area home into “Swiss cheese” — firing between 20 to 25 shots at it with “AK-47 style” weapons — in a “calculated” shooting attack that left a 4-year-old girl dead and members of her family injured, cops say.

“Five members of a family were all shot, and MaryAnn unfortunately lost her life almost instantly after being shot in the head,” said Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar at a press conference Friday, during which he announced one of two arrests in connection with MaryAnn Marble’s 2024 slaying.

“The front door had so many bullet holes that it looked like Swiss cheese,” Salazar told reporters with local Fox affiliate KABB and other media outlets.

Bryan Salazar, 20, was arrested Friday and charged with capital murder and numerous other charges linked to the May 2024 shooting in Windsor Hollow. He and 19-year-old Isaiah Perales, who was indicted in January, were both allegedly caught on surveillance cameras firing multiple rounds from their high-powered, Draco-style weapons into MaryAnn’s home.

“This is a case we’ll never forget,” Sheriff Salazar said, describing MaryAnn’s murder as a “calculated act.” KABB reports that police believe the incident was retaliation for another shooting that happened two weeks earlier. A relative of Bryan Salazar’s, 20-year-old Xavier Perez, was gunned down.

Bryan Salazar and Perales allegedly stole an Infiniti Q50 to use just days after Perez’s murder and drove to MaryAnn’s house in it after scoping the place out, cops say.

“They stole the car, they conducted surveillance, and then carried out the shooting,” Sheriff Salazar said.

Salazar has been booked on charges of capital murder, two counts of injury to a child, and eight counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon under Texas’ new “mass shooting” statute. Perales is facing the same charges.

MaryAnn’s parents and two of her siblings were shot by the pair. The girl’s mom took to Facebook after Salazar’s arrest and charges were announced Friday to celebrate.

“They got him baby girl !!!!!!” she wrote. “They got him !!!!!!!! I knew this day would come I just didn’t know when but it’s here !!!!!!! BRYAN SALAZAR YOU F POS !!!!!!!
