A Wisconsin teenager accused of gunning down his mother and stepfather had much bigger plans, according to police.
Milwaukee-based Fox affiliate WITI obtained federal court documents in connection to the murder investigation of suspect Nikita Casap, 17, who allegedly shot his mother, 35-year-old Tatiana Casap, and his stepfather, 51-year-old Donald Mayer in February before fleeing from the state.
After his arrest on Feb. 28, police allegedly determined Nikita Casap had been planning to leave the country altogether after text messages revealed communications with unknown parties in Russia.
Now, authorities said Nikita Casap was also allegedly plotting a “political revolution” and the assassination of President Donald Trump.
According to WITI’s reporting on the documents, a search warrant on Nikita Casap’s electronic devices yielded even more disturbing evidence that indicated even loftier, more dangerous plans. The warrant, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, outlined what Nikita Casap was allegedly considering in the months leading up to the killing of his parents.
In Law&Crime’s previous reporting on Nikita Casap’s case, police said the defendant was communicating with an unnamed Russian national on the Telegram app. But in the latest search warrant, per WITI, an interview with one of Nikita Casap’s classmates revealed that he was allegedly “planning to overthrow the government of the United States and assassinate President Trump.”
The warrant also described a “self-described manifesto regarding assassinating the president, making bombs, and terrorist attacks.”
That purported three-page manifesto, entitled “Accelerate the Collapse,” cited Nikita Casap’s supposed goal as “a political revolution in the United States” to “save the white race” from “Jewish controlled” politicians. Authorities said that the same document also apparently included images of Adolf Hitler featuring the words “HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY.”
According to the warrant, the manifesto specifically mentioned “getting rid of the president and perhaps the vice president,” saying, “Point being this manifesto is specifically for the attack that targets Trump.”
More evidence cited by authorities include references to the Order of Nine Angles, which the FBI has designated as “a satanic cult that encourages violence, terrorism, sexual abuse, and child pornography.” In publicly available FBI documents, the group – also referred to as O9A – “follows strong anti-Judaic, anti-Christian, and anti-Western ideologies and aims to incite violence and chaos in western civilization.”
According to the warrant, Nikita Casap had already allegedly paid for materials he intended to use in an attack, including “a drone and explosives to be used as a weapon of mass destruction.” Authorities also reportedly theorized in the warrant that Nikita Casap allegedly killed his parents in order to obtain the funds necessary to carry out these supposed attacks.
According to the warrant, Nikita Casap’s alleged plans for a “political revolution” went back months, and he tried to recruit others to help him, WITI reported.
The defendant was charged with nine felonies including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of hiding a corpse. He is being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in court on May 9.
