GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Alicia Nicole Walker, 31, was taken into custody yesterday following warrants issued for two separate incidents: a vehicular altercation in April and identity misuse in September.

The April incident involved Walker allegedly backing into another car in a drive-through lane on April 5, then leaving the scene without providing her contact details. The victims, who were reportedly acquainted with Walker, tracked her down to her apartment complex, leading to a confrontation. During this dispute, Walker is accused of intentionally ramming her car into the victims’ vehicle, which had three people inside, before fleeing the scene.

An officer from the Gainesville Police Department responded and reported that Walker claimed the victims’ car had actually hit hers. Initially, she denied being at the drive-through, but upon being informed of surveillance footage, she admitted her presence there. Walker then chose not to answer further questions without legal counsel. The officer observed damage along the entire driver’s side of her car.

Walker now faces charges of aggravated battery related to this incident.

At about 11:50 p.m. on September 5, an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the Eastside Food Store (3423 SE Hawthorne Road), where Walker said two women had robbed and battered her in the parking lot. The deputy’s investigation found that Walker had falsely identified herself with someone else’s name, and he believed that was because she did not want to be arrested on her warrant for the April incident.

The deputy reported that Walker completed a sworn statement and affirmed under oath that the information on the statement, including her name, was true.

Walker has been charged with fraudulent use of another person’s identification information, perjury (not in an official proceeding), giving false information to an officer during a felony investigation, and knowingly making a false written statement to mislead a public servant in their official duties.

Walker has three felony convictions (one violent) and seven misdemeanor convictions (one violent). She was also booked on a warrant for failing to appear at hearings for intentionally hitting an occupied parked car in October 2024. Senior Judge Bo Bayer ordered her held without bond on the October 2024 case and set bail at $250,000 on the new charges.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
