According to police reports, a Wisconsin man pinned a woman to her vehicle following her attempt to fend him off using pepper spray.
The man, identified as 33-year-old Vang Yang, targeted the 63-year-old woman in an alleged “road rage incident” that took place in Madison’s northern area on Tuesday morning, police disclosed in a detailed report.
Authorities reported that the altercation erupted around 9:50 a.m. near the intersection of North Sherman Avenue and Northport Drive.
Despite the harrowing encounter, the woman managed to free herself and drive to her workplace, where she contacted law enforcement. Meanwhile, Yang stayed at the location of the incident, the statement revealed.
Dane County court records show that Yang has been charged with felony battery to an elderly person or at-risk adult and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He was released from the Dane County Jail on Thursday after pleading not guilty and has a court appearance scheduled for Aug. 26.
