On Tuesday, hundreds of volunteers and law enforcement officers resumed their search for 2-year-old Dane Paulsen, who disappeared March 1 in Lincoln County, Oregon.

ABC News reports that search teams have covered 682 acres and logged 341 miles on foot, employing drones, divers, K9 units, and thermal imaging equipment. Authorities have investigated at least 195 leads and tips in their efforts to locate the missing toddler.

At a news conference Tuesday, police said they are directing their search for to the Siletz River near his home, stating he was at the river’s edge prior to his disappearance.

“We know this is a difficult time for Dane’s family, and we are doing everything we can to bring him home,” Lincoln County Sheriff Adam Shanks said.

As CrimeOnline reported, the sheriff’s department said he was last seen playing in the front yard of his family’s home in Siletz, “out of sight of his parents.” He was reported missing at approximately 4:25 p.m. Saturday.

The tot’s  disappearance doesn’t meet the criteria for an AMBER Alert, the sheriff’s department said

Dane was last seen wearing a grey fuzzy hoody with ears, blue and white shoes, and black pants. He has brown hair and green eyes.
