A sex offender in California was arrested earlier this month for allegedly sniffing a woman’s buttocks at a store.

Officials confirmed to KTLA that Burbank police arrested Calese Crowder, 38, on August 20 for a “butt sniffing” incident. Records indicate that Crowder is on active parole and has been arrested for similar lewd conduct as early as 2021.

KTTV reported that following Crowder’s arrest last week, the case was dropped due to an insufficient complaint. However, records stated that the California Department of Corrections was holding him without bail due to his active parole status.

Crowder’s arrest comes a month after he was arrested for sniffing women’s bottoms in public — which he has been accused of before.

@michaela.witter The ugly side of doing things solo as a woman even in an open public space. Stalking, harrassment, etc. has happened to me way too many times but this definitely ranks top 3 creepiest moments. Please be safe and attentive to your surroundings unlike myself. Unfortunately, as women we have to have all senses aware even in spaces we wouldnt think necessary #100solodateideas #solodateideas #womenproblems #menarescary ♬ original sound – Michaela 🤍

In late July, surveillance cameras at the Empire Center in Burbank allegedly filmed Crowder crouching down to sniff a shopper’s buttocks. Crowder reportedly left the scene before police arrived, but he was ultimately apprehended at a nearby Walmart.

In that case, Crowder was charged with loitering with intent to commit a crime. His bail was set at $100,000. Officials have not said whether he posted bond, or why he was released.

KTTV reported that Crowder was arrested in 2023 for peeping into a family’s home in Glendale. Later that year, a woman posted a video to TikTok apparently showing Crowder crouch behind her at a Barnes and Noble store in Burbank.

Crowder was sentenced in 2023 to a year in jail for indecent exposure, but sources said he was released early.
