Homicide investigators in Massachusetts had their work cut out for them when tipped off about the murder of 47-year-old Aris Manoloules.

A Sneak Peek of Episode 4 of Fatal Family Feuds, as Season 2 continues airing all-new episodes on Oxygen, featured the actual 911 call from Treefon Manoloules, desperate to learn more about his brother’s wellbeing. The call was placed to the Barnstable Police Department in Cape Cod, where Aris lived in the village of Hyannis.

Treefon Manoloules requested “a welfare check on my brother, please.”

Treefon provided his brother’s age before explaining why he decided to call 911. “I’m very concerned; I haven’t been able to reach him, and I think something’s happened to him,” said the worried sibling.

When asked when he was last in contact with Aris Manoloules, Treefon Manoloules said it’d been one day.

According to now-retired Detective Sergeant John Murphy of the Barnstable Police Department, the concerned brother came from Southborough, Massachusetts, nearly 100 miles northwest of Hyannis and 25 miles west of Boston. His tip was enough to have police send uniformed officers to the address.

What authorities found at Aris Manoloules’ home

When officers arrived at the scene, the front door was left open, Massachusetts State Police Lead Investigator Chris Mason told Fatal Family Feuds. Responders heard the sounds of a television coming from inside the residence.

“They’re not able to get anybody to come to the door,” said Mason, prompting dispatchers to call Treefon Manoloules back and ask if he’d like officers to enter.

“Please, please,” the brother pleaded.

Inside, they found “a male subject on the floor, face-down, laying in a pool of blood,” Murphy said, adding it was a “shocking experience.”

“As they approach, they see that there’s no movement,” Mason continued.

Upon closer inspection, investigators found multiple bullet wounds, including to the head.

“This person has lost a considerable amount of blood and is probably deceased,” said Mason.

The subject would later be identified as Aris Manoloules, and the local and state authorities would handle the homicide investigation.

With the second season of Fatal Family Feuds underway, audiences can expect even more murder and mayhem that challenges the adage, ‘blood is thicker than water.’ The series continues to show how minor disagreements can escalate into homicide, and the case of Aris Manoloules is no exception.

An affluent family, at war with each other for over a decade, find themselves at the center of a murder investigation when a beloved uncle is found dead,” per the episode’s official description. “Police unravel a conspiracy involving a wayward son and a counterfeit secret agent.”
