In a shocking incident in Texas, a man has been accused of a heinous act of violence against his pregnant ex-girlfriend and her mother, all witnessed by three young children. The alleged attacker, Christopher Mike, 32, is said to have broken into the home of Sylvia Scott in Fort Worth on November 19. According to police reports, he waited in hiding for Scott and her mother, Allura Stewart, to return home.
As the two women entered the house through the garage, Mike reportedly ambushed them. Scott recounted the terrifying moment to local media, explaining, “I was shot in the neck, and it went through my face.” This brutal attack happened in front of Scott’s children, adding to the trauma of the event.
Stewart, also a victim of the violent encounter, described the chilling scene: “He just appeared out of nowhere and shot her and looked at me and shot me.” She expressed her fear that Mike might harm the children as he ran further into the house after the shooting.
The relationship between Mike and Scott, who is expecting his child, had reportedly ended earlier in November. Scott has since shared that Mike exhibited violent behavior during their time together. This tragic incident highlights the severe consequences of domestic violence and the urgent need for protective measures for victims.
Mike, who is the father of Scott’s unborn child, was allegedly violent during the former couple’s relationship, which ended in November, according to Scott.
The mother managed to crawl to her car after being shot and called 911. Her baby survived the attack, KDFW reports. The children in the home were not targeted, but are said to be experiencing nightmares after the incident.
“There were a number of events that happened before this one,” Scott told the station.
Mike was allegedly living with Scott before their relationship ended. She believes he was tracking her location using an Apple iPad that he left with her.
“I don’t feel at ease,” Scott said.
Online records show that Mike is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and kidnapping in connection with the alleged incident. He was being held without bond over the weekend and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 5, 2026.
