Authorities in California are actively searching for a 69-year-old man from Inglewood, who is considered at-risk and has been missing since Monday.
The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Inglewood Police Department for Cortesio Morse, a resident of Los Angeles County. The alert was announced on Sunday as efforts to locate him intensify.
Morse was last spotted around 10 p.m. on Monday evening. His whereabouts were last recorded at the intersection of Hindry Avenue and Arbor Vitae Street in Inglewood, according to the CHP’s reports.
He is described as a Black male, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing around 170 pounds. Morse is bald and has brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a khaki hat, a jacket in beige and navy, navy pants, and black shoes.
It is believed that Morse is traveling on foot.

According to CHP, a Silver Alert assists in getting immediate information to the helping, in an effort to assist missing “elderly, or developmentally or cognitively-impaired,” and/or those “determined to be at-risk.”
