A gym teacher at a New York school for autistic students was arrested last week for reportedly exposing himself to his students.

The alleged incident occurred last Tuesday at P.S. 723 in the Bronx. Sources told the New York Post that is where Dana Barschdorf, 44, put his genitals in a Lysol wipes container in front of six students.

Barschdorf allegedly also wiped his buttocks with a Lysol wipe in the students’ presence.

WABC reported that Barschdorf’s students ranged in age from 9 to 11 Police said other staff reported him to authorities, according to the New York Post.

On Wednesday, Barschdorf pleaded not guilty to second-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, harassment, and exposure of a person (public lewdness). He was released from custody without bail.

The Department of Education said in a statement issued to WABC that Barschdorf was reassigned pending an investigation.

“This alleged behavior is completely unacceptable,” the federal agency said.

Barschdorf is due back in court on February 14.
