A woman from Texas faces charges for fatally stabbing her uncle following a dispute over cooking.
Fort Worth police announced the arrest of 32-year-old Ashley Marie Siebenaller on Monday, as reported by KDFW. Authorities responded to a stabbing incident at a residence on December 26, shortly after noon, where they discovered 64-year-old Tony Vernon Graham with a chest wound. Graham succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Witnesses recounted that a heated argument between Siebenaller and Graham preceded the tragic event. After the altercation, Graham was found collapsed on the floor, while a blood-stained knife was discovered on the couch and later moved to a table by one of the witnesses.
Initially, Siebenaller denied involvement in the stabbing, but later confessed, according to an affidavit. She expressed frustration with her uncle for locking her out earlier that day and further angered by his demand for her to start cooking. Although she claimed Graham first stabbed her in the mouth, investigators noted the absence of any injuries.
Despite the confession, Siebenaller wasn’t apprehended until the following Monday. On January 2, a housemate alerted the police, reporting that Siebenaller stood outside their door brandishing a knife.
Police obtained a warrant for her arrest the next day, and she was booked into the Tarrant County jail on Monday, charged with murder.
No bond has been set.
