Deon Derrico has spoken out following his ex-wife Karen Derrico’s recent arrest.
In an exclusive conversation, the former TLC personality responded to accusations from Karen’s legal team. They claim that recent emails, which purportedly contain threats sent from Karen to Deon, were fabricated by him.
“It’s absolutely egregious,” Deon stated. “I find these accusations completely absurd and unfounded. There is no possible way I could or would hack into her email.”
Deon Derrico Reacts To Karen Derrico’s Phone Call
Deon also addressed a phone call released by TMZ on June 25, in which Karen is allegedly heard arguing with one of their 14 children.
“I believe it’s utterly unacceptable for any parent, particularly a mother, to speak in such a manner to their child,” remarked Deon. “I am committed to ensuring my children receive the best support and assistance they need during this time.”

In response to the audio, Karen’s attorney Jess Marchese described the phone call to Oxygen as a “total nothing burger” and “not a crime.”
The audio was published two days after Karen was arraigned on charges of violating a temporary restraining order, harassment, aggravated stalking and preventing or dissuading a witness from testifying or producing evidence with immediate threat or use of physical force, according to a criminal complaint provided to Oxygen.
Deon Derrico Feels Like He’s Experienced A Death
As for how he feels now, Deon says he feels like “someone died.”
“I feel [that way] because something died,” he told Oxygen. “Something that I loved died and that was us as a unit, as a whole, and our family is torn in two. So something has died. What has died was the way we once were, and we’ll never be that way again.”
