On Sunday, renowned director and former “All in the Family” actor Rob Reiner, along with his wife, were tragically discovered dead in their California mansion, according to recent reports.

KTLA has reported that the couple, Rob and Michelle Singer Reiner, were found with apparent stab wounds in their Brentwood residence following a call to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Authorities noted that their daughter was present at the scene, while their son, who is considered a suspect, fled the location before police arrived.

Rob Reiner was 78 years old, and his wife Michelle was 68.

While the police have yet to officially comment on the suspected double homicide, sources revealed to People that their son Nick Reiner is believed to have killed his parents. In a 2016 interview, Nick Reiner discussed his struggles with drug addiction and homelessness.

“I’ve been home for a really long time now, and I’ve gradually readjusted to living in L.A. and being around my family,” he shared at that time.
