Press release from Gainesville Police Department
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – At approximately 1049 p.m. tonight, GPD officers were dispatched to the area of 1100 NE 25th Terrace, in reference to a call about a person who had been shot. Officers arrived on scene and located two subjects who had been shot. Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived and transported the subjects to the hospital.

This is an active investigation, and updates will be provided at a later time. We are asking members of the community with information regarding this shooting to please call 352-955-1818 or Crime Stoppers at 352-372-7867.
