UC Santa Cruz Cops Release Sketch of Man Wanted for Campus Rapes

Police on the campus of the University of California, Santa Cruz have released a sketch of a man who is wanted for the sexual battery of two women on campus.

The two assaults took place on February 20 and March 7 in the College Nine/John R. Lewis apartment buildings A1 and A2, KSBW reported.

Campus police said the second incident involved physical restraint.

“UC Santa Cruz Police Department has increased patrols in the area and is actively investigating these incidents,” police said in a statement.

They described the suspect as a man in his early 20s with light skin and shoulder-length dark hair. He is said to be 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build and dark-colored eyes, wearomg black, plastic-rimmed glasses.

He was last seen wearing a black bandana and dark clothing.
