Ultra-Lux Realty Bros Sex Trafficking Scandal: Oren Alexander’s Attorney Speaks to Nancy Grace

A defense attorney representing sexual assault suspect Oren Alexander says his client will be acquitted

Lawyer Richard Klugh joined Nancy Grace on Tuesday’s “Crime Stories” episode to discuss the ongoing legal battle surrounding his client.

A federal judge dismissed the case, ruling it was not filed within the time frame set by a New York state survivors’ law. The law allowed claims to be filed from November 2022 to November 2023, but Parker’s suit was filed in June 2024. She has until February 14 to file an amended complaint.

The Alexander brothers are accused of using their wealth and influence to create opportunities to sexually assault women. More than 40 women have come forward with allegations, and investigators are urging others who believe they were assaulted to contact authorities. Attorneys for the brothers say they plan to plead not guilty.

The three brothers come from a high-profile real estate background. Tal and Oren brokered a $47 million deal for their father in 2012 and a $240 million Manhattan condo sale in 2019. Alon attended law school before joining the family’s private security company, Kent Security.

Grace: “Do you believe this case will in fact go to trial or are you going to take a plea?”

Klugh: “There is no way that this case ends with anything other than an acquittal or a dismissal.”

“The fact that we are talking about the way men or women address each other, various encounters, as evidence of some kind of crime just shows that there is nothing in this case.”

Klugh said that both his client and another person involved in the case passed polygraph examinations with “flying colors.”

The lawyer added that his client had been thoroughly questioned on this single charge, which had been tested in multiple ways during the polygraph process.

“The willingness of this individual, my client, to pay for the polygraph, should be contrasted with the unwillingness of anybody else on the government side to take a polygraph.”

While polygraphs are often not admissible in court unless both parties agree upfront, Klugh believes that the results of his client’s polygraph will play a key role in defending him.

Each brother has been accused of forcible rape by at least 10 women. All three are indicted on federal sex trafficking charges, while Oren and Alon also face sexual battery charges in Florida. The Alexanders have denied the allegations in civil cases, with their representatives suggesting the accusers are attempting to extort them.

Court documents detail accounts from alleged victims. “Victim-1” claims she was raped by Tal Alexander and other men in 2021 at a home in the Hamptons. She says she felt unwell after drinking a glass of wine, then recalled Tal holding her down as another man entered the room. She later woke up in a separate room, where a camcorder was set up.

If convicted, they face life in prison.
