The family of a Georgia man who disappeared last week while on a business trip to Louisiana is “praying for a miracle.”

Nathan Millard’s wife, Amber Millard, told WSB that “this is my worst nightmare.”

“I’m heartbroken,” she said. “It’s a nightmare that I want to wake up from.”

“I’m praying for a miracle, that he makes it home safely to us,” said Millard.

Nathan Millard, 42, went to Baton Rouge on Wednesday. The next day, he met with a client and then scored tickets to a Louisiana State University basketball game. After the game, he went to Happy’s Irish Pub in downtown Baton Rouge, and the client last saw him leaving at about 11:30 p.m. He hasn’t been seen seen, as CrimeOnline previously reported.

Amber Millard said she FaceTimed with her husband from the basketball game.

“He never made it back to his hotel, and it’s just an open investigation for a missing person,” she said.

Millard and family friend Matt Still said that police have surveillance footage of a man — not Millard — using his credit card at an ATM.

“His credit card was used at least twice, once I believe it was an ATM. I’ve heard there’s video of a man using it and it isn’t Nathan. The second time was at a Greyhound station. Also, his wallet clip was found with his American Express, but no ID,” Still told WAGA.

Still said Millard’s family — two teenage sons from a previous marriage, a 7-year-old daughter, two teenage stepchildren, and his wife — are “heartbroken and mentally drained.”

“I mean, we’re going on a week now, a week that he left to go to Baton Rouge,” he said.

Amber Millard told WXIA that she’s struggling to stay positive.

“He’s a loved man,” she said, “a great man and we need him, we want him home.”

Millard is from Covington, Georgia, east of Atlanta. He’s described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green ball cap, black shirt, and blue jeans, the Baton Rouge Police Department said.
