New details have emerged in connection with an Ohio EMT who vanished before she was scheduled to testify in a rape case.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Lachelle Jordan was last seen in the 11000 block of Fairport Avenue in Cleveland, at around 6 p.m. At the time she was wearing a blue and white sweatshirt with East Cleveland Fire Department’s logo on the front and the letters ECFD on the back, along with green and white tie-dye pants, and rainbow-colored Crocs.
“She went to her vehicle to get something out of her vehicle and never came back inside, left all her clothes, left all of her belongings,” the president of the Cleveland EMS union, Mark Barrett, told 19 News. “She has a twin sister that she didn’t notify. This certainly wasn’t planned. Something happened, she’s missing.”
A family member said that Jordan was expected to give testimony in a rape case involving Michael Stennett, 65. He was charged in 2022 with two counts of rape and one count of abduction.
Court records obtained by Fox 8 indicated that Stennett, identified as an employee of the Cleveland Recreation Department when the rape accusations were made, allegedly followed Jordan while she was at work. Jordan reportedly worked at the recreation center part-time.
Jordan told police she also spotted Stennett outside of her residence on several occasions. Court records indicated that the most recent sighting of Stennett outside of Jordan’s home happened Thursday of last week.
According to Dave Jockers, the vice president of the Cleveland Association of Rescue Employees. Jordan “was scared” concerning the stalking and had been transferred to a different role within the department in response to her fears.
“We’re here for her; we want to do everything we can for her,” Jockers told WKYC. “We know this is a top priority for the police department and we want to do everything we can to get her home safe.”

Cleveland police said that at this time, there is no evidence that connects Stennett to Jordan’s disappearance. Family members, however, told police that someone fired a gunshot through Jordan’s window over the weekend.
Investigators suspect that the gunshot could have been a part of a continuous effort to intimidate her as a witness in the rape case involving Stennett
Police arrested Stennet on Monday afternoon, following Jordan’s disappearance, for felony probation violation.
Jordan is described as a Black female who stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. She has black hair and green eyes.
