The FBI has declared a reward of up to $50,000 on Thursday, commemorating the two-year milestone since Tennessee teenager Sebastian Rogers went missing.

Sebastian, who would be 17 today, vanished on February 26, 2024, from his residence in Hendersonville. According to his family, he is autistic and left home without shoes, his medication, or his phone.

The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office has reiterated this week that their investigation is ongoing. They are diligently pursuing “every credible lead” with the collaboration of the FBI and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), as reported by WSMV 4.

Sheriff Eric Craddock emphasized that despite circulating rumors, Sebastian’s name remains in the missing persons database.

According to CrimeOnline’s earlier reports, Sebastian was residing with his mother and stepfather, Katie and Chris Brownfoot, at their Stafford Court home when he disappeared.

Chris Proudfoot previously told “Crime Stories” host Nancy Grace that he had been almost four hours away in Memphis, working on a construction project at St. Jude, when Sebastian disappeared.

Katie Proudfoot said she and Sebastian were at home when he vanished at some point after he went to bed.

It was a normal night,” Katie told FOX 17 last year. “That was the last time I saw my son… when he went to bed.”

The following morning, she noticed him missing, and despite massive searches. tips, an AMBER Alert and a TBI Endangered Child Alert, there have been no credible sightings of the teen.

“I have thought every single day, night… Every possibility of something that could have happened to him, where he could have gone. If he had gone with someone. If someone took him willingly, unwillingly. If he ran away and got lost. A million different things, and unfortunately, I don’t know,” Katie added.
